49 points with captain Salah not delivering, but it's the first green arrow of the season😀 in game week 3. Four players delivered returns without the captaincy. Mateta scored a goal, Van Dijk secured a clean sheet and two bonus points, Bruno Fernandes scored a goal, earned two DEFCON, and two bonus points, and Joao Pedro scored a goal with maximum bonus points. Diouf remained on the bench with 10 points.
The FPL game week turned out to be somewhat satisfactory. Bruno Fernandes and Pedro emerged as the standout players. I regret not making Bruno Fernandes my captain, especially since a late penalty worked in his favor. Salah was up against Arsenal. I have two free transfers available. I'll wait for the press conferences before finalizing my team decisions. Below is my team lineup before any transfers are made.
After a lengthy international break, hopefully without injuries, I need to make some decisions. Should I save or use two transfers? Bruno Fernandes is set to play against City, and while Watkins has favorable fixtures, I'm uncertain. I’m considering Haaland, but that would impact the team's structure. Joao Pedro returns late from the national team, yet he will definitely be in the squad. My captain choice is Salah😀, with Joao Pedro as vice-captain for now. The captaincy could easily switch to Mateta. We'll see.
