Semenyo contributed with two goals, one assist, and maximum bonus points. The rest of the team seemed absent from the game week, which is quite concerning. Starting off game week 1 with a strong performance of 70 points, thanks to captain Salah who scored a goal, provided an assist, earned maximum bonus points, and set the tone for a promising start 😀. Seven players delivered returns, including the captain. Flekken made six saves, Gvardiol secured a clean sheet and one bonus point, Burn also kept a clean sheet, Zinchenko maintained a clean sheet, Isak contributed with an assist, and Haaland scored a goal along with two bonus points.
Great beginning to the FPL season! I'm pleased with the team's performance. Captain Salah made a strong comeback, earning valuable points, and the defensive players were outstanding. The midfield players, excluding Salah, now have an opportunity to shine. Solanke may have drawn a blank, but hopefully, he will deliver this week. Below is my current team lineup before any transfers are considered.
It appears that there are no injuries. I will retain my transfer so that I have two free transfers to consider future moves. Henderson will start, everything else remains unchanged. Barco was not in the game, and there are transfer rumors about him, but I believe he can wait until I use my wildcard. My captain will be Haaland 😃, with Salah as vice-captain for now.
